Mac’s Wood Grilled celebrates Cinco de Mayo and the Kentucky Derby by adding all-day Cinco de Derby specials Saturday, May 2 through Tuesday, May 5. All-day drink deals include: $4 Modelo bottles, $6 Teremana Tequila Blanco shots, and $12 Woodford Reserve Mint Juleps, which are made with mint simple syrup and fresh mint. Additional specials include $18 Steak Taco Platters (wood-grilled skirt steak with white onions, cilantro, and corn tortillas), and $13 Chicken Taco Platters (marinated chicken breast with house pico de gallo, sour cream, and corn tortillas). Both platters include two tacos served with tortilla chips and house salsa verde.


On Saturday, May 2, watch the Kentucky Derby undercard and pre-race coverage starting at 11 a.m. and the 152nd running of the Kentucky Derby (5:57 p.m. approximate post time). Toast the Run for the Roses with $12 Woodford Reserve Mint Julep or choose from the daily drink deal lineup: $4 Paddy’s Irish Whiskey shots, $4 Pink Whitney shots, $5 Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey shots, $5 house vodka Mules, $5 Bloody Marys, and $5 house vodka cocktails (excludes Red Bull). The specials are offered during regular business hours May 2-5.
