Operations & Facilities Manager Job Description

Pup Social is looking for a skilled and dynamic Operations & Facilities Manager to oversee daily operations at our 10,000 sq/ft indoor and outdoor facility. This role is ideal for someone with a sharp business mind, proven success in managing teams, and a passion for optimizing operations. Responsibilities

As the Operations & Facilities Manager, you will oversee all aspects of Pup Social’s daily operations, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for members, their pups, and staff. Key responsibilities include:

Facility Maintenance and Cleanliness:

- Ensure the facility, both indoors and outdoors, is always clean, safe, and presentable for members and staff.

- Perform regular facility inspections and address maintenance needs, including basic repairs or coordinating with specialized contractors when necessary.

- Oversee the upkeep of specialty equipment and ensure proper functioning of all operational tools and systems.


Operational Efficiency and Compliance:

- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols to uphold high standards.

- Monitor operational processes to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, legal requirements, and company policies.


Team Leadership and Support:

- Lead, motivate, and support a large team in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

- Schedule staff shifts, coordinate tasks, and ensure optimal staffing levels.

- Foster a positive team culture by promoting trust, collaboration, and inclusivity.


Vendor and Inventory Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.

- Oversee inventory management, ensuring adequate stock of supplies and timely deliveries.

- Track and manage operational budgets, including negotiating vendor contracts.


Customer Experience and Member Support:

- Engage with members and guests to ensure their experience exceeds expectations.

- Respond promptly to member concerns and resolve conflicts with professionalism.

- Collaborate with other managers to align operations with member needs and feedback.




What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a motivated leader with experience in operations, facilities management, and customer service. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about community and innovation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience managing commercial facilities and overseeing teams.

- Proficiency in vendor relations, scheduling, and inventory management.

- Capable of performing basic maintenance and knowing when to call experts.

- Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and moral compass.

- Comfortable with spreadsheets, financial reporting, and payroll processing.

- Proficient in conflict resolution and customer service.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business administration, or a related field.

- Experience in dog-related industries or club management software.

- IT proficiency, including database development.

- Multilingual communication skills.
