Spa vs Spaw: At Pup Social, we have two distinct departments—Spa Services and Grooming Services (Spaw)—which are both focused on the well-being of our pets, but serve different functions.

-- Spa Services: Our spa is dedicated to offering grooming and pampering services to enhance the pet experience. The Spa is designed for luxurious and relaxing treatments, such as baths, blowouts, and gentle care, for both dogs and their owners.

-- Grooming Services (Spaw): This department focuses on professional, more in-depth grooming procedures for dogs, such as haircuts, nail trimming, and other necessary pet care services that require specialized grooming techniques.

Job Overview:
As a Stylist at Pup Social's Dry Bar, you will be an integral part of our team, delivering exceptional blowout and styling services to our members. Your responsibilities will include:

-- Providing Styling Services: Perform blowouts, styling, and related services tailored to each client's preferences.

-- Client Consultation: Offer expert advice on hair care, styles, and treatments to ensure a personalized experience.

-- Maintaining Hygiene Standards: Uphold cleanliness and sanitation protocols, ensuring tools are sterilized and the salon environment is immaculate.

-- Promoting Services: Educate clients about our unique offerings, including our pet care facilities and events, to enhance their overall experience.

-- Event Participation: Assist in organizing and promoting events that cater to both dogs and their owners, fostering a sense of community.

Qualifications:

-- Valid Cosmetology License in Illinois.

-- Proven experience as a Stylist, preferably in a luxury or pet-friendly environment.

-- Expertise in blowouts, styling, and related hair services.

-- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

-- Comfort working in a pet-friendly setting

-- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

-- A passion for beauty services and a love for dogs.

Preferred Qualifications:

-- Experience in a luxury salon or pet-focused environment.

-- Ability to provide advanced styling techniques and custom designs.

Hours of Operation:

Monday through Thursday: 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Friday: 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM

Saturday: 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM

Sunday: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
