Part-Time Sales Associate – One Strange Bird

Location: Wicker Park, Chicago
Hours: 20 hours per week (Weekday evenings 2-6pm & weekend shifts)
Compensation: competitive hourly wage depending on experience

One Strange Bird, a vibrant gift boutique and art studio in Wicker Park, is looking for a friendly and reliable Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team! If you love unique gifts, supporting local artists, and providing excellent customer service, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

🛍️ Assist customers with product selection and provide exceptional service
💳 Operate the point-of-sale system and handle transactions
🎨 Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store
📦 Restock and merchandise products as needed
📅 Support in-store events and art classes when required
📢 Promote One Strange Bird’s mission and offerings to customers via instagram and FB

Requirements:

✅ Retail or customer service experience preferred
✅ Friendly, outgoing personality with great communication skills
✅ Availability for weekday evenings and weekends
✅ Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
✅ Passion for art, gifts, and supporting small businesses
