About The Den Theatre
In 2010, Ryan Martin rented a second floor with one room, and opened his very own theatre in Chicago’s Wicker Park. What was once a space without a name is now The Den Theatre, home to diverse and exciting theatre, events, and stand-up!

The Den Theatre believes in the power of human connection. Our mission is to bring artists and audiences together in the spirit of respect, empathy, and community. We are a center for entertainment and artistic expression, providing a warm and diverse environment where everyone feels welcome and empowered to gather, play, create and share.

About SSA #33
The Wicker Park Bucktown Special Service Area (WPB SSA #33) is the business improvement district for the Wicker Park & Bucktown neighborhoods. It is administered by the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce and guided by a volunteer commission of local business owners, property owners, and residents. As one of Chicago’s 50+ taxpayer-funded SSAs, WPB provides supplemental services and programs to promote prosperity and maintain clean, attractive, and competitive commercial districts and unique qualities of life of the Wicker Park Bucktown neighborhood. The Chicago City Council passed the Establishment Ordinance for the Wicker Park Bucktown SSA #33 on November 23, 2005.
