She is an independent artist based in Chicago. She creates whimsical and colorful portraits that capture her intersectional experience as a Black woman. Black women deserve to have joyful and feminine representation. They deserve to be able to daydream and see themselves romanticized. She loves experimenting with color, patterns, textures, and more to create fun pieces. There are no bounds to her work, but it often reflects her personal life. She currently runs an art collective called HourNine that produces creative experiences and has done so for the last 2 years. They welcome all people but try to prioritize women of color. She hopes to continue combining her creative skills and love for the community.
