Emma Somi

Emma Somi is a Chicago-born singer-songwriter currently studying music at CalArts in Los Angeles. Blending indie-folk storytelling with indie-pop sensibilities, her music explores identity, connection, and the complexities of growing up.

Beginning as a solo acoustic performer, Emma built her sound around thoughtful lyricism and emotional honesty. After years of exploring alternative and indie-pop production, she has recently returned to her acoustic roots, creating intimate performances that place her songwriting at the forefront.

Inspired by artists such as Phoebe Bridgers, Lizzy McAlpine, and Adrianne Lenker, Emma’s music invites listeners into moments of vulnerability, reflection, and shared understanding.
