Based in Chicago, Carmen Chavez is a filmmaker who explores topics of identity. Growing up as half Filipino and half white, Carmen adds from her experiences growing up by adding in a "midwestern-homey" feel into each of her projects while continuing to explore new experiences and emotions in her work.
